From 2009-2012, I had the pleasure and privilege of providing the dietetic care to children with special needs for NHS Richmond & Twickenham. Sadly, funding for the post was withdrawn.
I currently provide a private service for children with special growth, feeding and nutritional needs. I work with families of children who may:
- have difficulty gaining weight
- have bowel issues e.g. constipation, diarrhoea, bloating, abdominal pain
- be overweight
- have a limited intake of food
- have diagnoses that change the need for specific nutrients
My experience with children with complex special needs include ASD, Prader-Willi, CP, Down’s Syndrome and rare metabolic dieases.
I hold a clinics at Kingston Health Centre, and I am also able to make home visits.
