Children with Additional Needs

From 2009-2012, I had the pleasure and privilege of providing the dietetic care to children with special needs for NHS Richmond & Twickenham. Sadly, funding for the post was withdrawn.

I currently provide a private service for children with special growth, feeding and nutritional needs. I work with families of children who may:

  • have difficulty gaining weight
  • have bowel issues e.g. constipation, diarrhoea, bloating, abdominal pain
  • be overweight
  • have a limited intake of food
  • have diagnoses that change the need for specific nutrients

My experience with children with complex special needs include ASD, Prader-Willi, CP, Down’s Syndrome and rare metabolic dieases.

I hold a clinics at Kingston Health Centre, and I am also able to make home visits.

If you would like to discuss your child’s nutrition, call me for a free 15 minute chat.
